How to quit smoking in an easy way ?
I’ve been smoking since 6 years. I want to quit forever and by going cold turkey without taking tables or patches. Any tips ?
Be aware of …
- No one can quit if not entirely convinced to do so.
- There’s no best nor easy way to quit.
- Everyone is different in the way they stop smoking.
- What worked for someone might not work for others.
- The only way to tell if any given method works or not for someone is to try it.
- Anything to stop that habit is worth it.

best method to stop smoking?
want to stop smoking cigarettes for the new year
any success stories
I didn’t smoke for very long, only four years, but it was really hard to quit.
I just stopped and replaced cigarettes with gum (not the nicotine gum, just the normal stuff). Haven’t smoked since.
If you quit smoking and have a cigarette after 2 days sober is it like starting from scratch again?
Don’t try to talk me out of the cigarette, I already smoked it, well half of it anyways. Preferably only answers from those who have quit smoking or gone through what I am. I quit cold turkey by the way.
My experience is that "it’s only one cigarette" is a slippery slope and before you know it you’re back to how much you smoked before. But you did it already, so pick yourself up again and just get back with it. Don’t quit quitting!
Also, I’ve found that the hardest milestones to achieve are the third day, the third week, and the third month. I’ve never made it to the third year
so I don’t know about that one.
Good luck!
